Experience design has always been my professional craft; I've covered a broad range of client personalities, aesthetics, budgets, timeframes, and scopes throughout my 25 years as a designer. I've been a successful business owner and project manager to boot.
I excel with
People
Pragmatism
Business acumen
Service design
UX design
My love of people, my pragmatism,my love of business and meticulous organization, and my design abilities intersect in the realm of UX.
• I dove into new human-centered design challenges in healthcare, designing educational experiences for home health professionals, and product design for USAF servicemembers.
• Formalizing my own consulting business in 2013 exposed business acumen underlying my creative abilities, and I designed streamlined B2C processes.
• My most rewarding experiences, which ultimately became my greatest successes, stem from the powerful trust I’m able to build with my clients as I champion their needs in design solutions.

Fun Facts & Other Experiences
• I lived in Egypt for 7 months, where I experienced Islamic holidays and national elections, among the other events. My success in learning the language allowed me to share joys and frustrations with the people I was around on a daily basis.
• My time Japan took me from 15' of snow in northern Honshu to the Peace Memorial Museum in Hiroshima. The air is thick with cultural history in Kyoto and Aizu, and the Nijo Castle sings with its "mocking bird" floors — a unique user experience for the unwanted intruder!
• Climbing through the perfectly carved stone ruins in Machu Picchu on their nearly 8,000' perch are a stark reminder of what ingenuity, passion, and hard work can yield, even with limited resources.
